Mojo Monday 259 – Fly High!

It’s time for Mojo Monday! This is my first time to enter this challenge. This is the sketch:

And here is what I came up with:

Most of the materials I used for this card came from the My Mind’s Eye “Good Day Sunshine” paper kit by Deena Rutter.

My sweet 13yo daughter also wanted to get into the fun, so here is what she did:

Cute, huh? Please leave a comment!

(edited 9/20/12, 2:38 PM EST) Oh, I just noticed that the Twisted Tuesday Challenge for this week fits my project perfectly! So, go on over there and see all the great cards that others have made! (After you spend some time looking here, of course! :))

Thank You, Jenni Bowlin!

I went to the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Convention in Nashville a few weeks ago and I discovered a scrapbook company that is absolutely fabulous! JBS Mercantile is a great place to find beautiful scrapbook paper and other scrapbook products that have a vintage look and feel. Jenni also sells items that she has found at flea markets and other places. This website has all kinds of things such as old books, suitcases, ledgers, bingo cards, etc. Believe me, if you like old things, you will love JBS Mercantile. Also, you can find inspiration at Jenni’s blog, which now has the August/September Gazette available for free download. Check it out!

Here is a layout I did using some of the stuff I bought at the CK Convention:

I’d really like to know what you think of my layout. Please leave a comment!
